Happy Birthday Joel
So I planned a surprise birthday party for Joel at The Black Sheep and pulled it off. Some of his family and friends came down from Molalla to partake in the festivities. I think the event was a big success! 
During the day, I got to put on my Texan training cap and give some pointers about riding western as Lara was nice enough to let Joel ride Charlie (a wonderful Quarter Horse) for his birthday. It was pretty fun and I think apart from feeling separation anxiety from the filly, Charlie enjoyed the pampering!
All and all it was a pretty fun day if I do say so myself.
